… I couldn’t help but tear up. Knowing we were part of her family’s journey through their struggles—and now celebrating the joyous news of her citizenship—it’s a moment that words simply cannot describe.

Just reading might not move you enough, but being there—by Suki’s and her father’s side during those dark, uncertain days—you would feel it: the joy, the tears, the raw emotions. Moments like these are why volunteers like us keep going. It’s that indescribable “happiness beyond human realms” that money just can’t buy.
But our work isn’t done!
Suki’s family still needs us. We’re still paying RM500 monthly for their flat rental, we have been doing so since May 2022, and we hope to provide more for their household expenses. To do this, we need you—kind-hearted souls—to join us in making their world better!

Just spoke to Mr Wong & Suki – it was confirmed that we shall be having a CNY lunch with them on Fri, 31/1/2025 – can’t wait for the day when we can congratulate them in persons, have a good meal with them and pass Suki her well deserved BIG RED PACKET!
