Yayasan Suria JB Care (YSJBC) – Empathy & Gratitude: The Heartbeat of Humanity ❤️
After years of volunteering and running an NGO, one thing is clear—empathy and gratitude are what truly make us human. But sometimes, we see a lack of these values in society.
Through our journey with the Poor & Needy, we’ve met all kinds of people—the selfless, the indifferent, and those who just don’t care.
🖤 Some Just Don’t Care – The Ugly! (13%) 🥶
These folks live in their own world. They don’t bother about others, not even the environment or animals. Their motto? “None of My Business” (NOMB). If others are struggling, they feel it’s not their concern.
⚫ Some Care, But Only for Themselves (15%) – The Bad! 😐
A little better, but still focused on “Me, me, me!” They won’t go out of their way to help, but at least they don’t discourage those who do.
🤍 The Majority Still Have Big Hearts (72%) – The Good! 👍🦸♀️
Thankfully, most people do care! ❤️ These are the ones who keep volunteerism alive. They give, share, and support those in need. Without them, many underprivileged families wouldn’t survive.
1. A Japanese restaurant in JB has been donating 150 packets of cooked food daily for the past 7 months! 🍱
2. A dairy company in Klang consistently provides milk powder, UHT milk, malt chocolate & oats. 🥛
3. We collect bread, buns, vegetables, fruits, and rice regularly from generous outlets in JB. 🍞🥬
4. A well-known ice cream distributor keeps sharing frozen treats for the Poor & Needy (and our hardworking volunteers too! 🍦).
5. Wahhh, some individuals and companies really have hearts of gold! ❤️ Their generosity is simply mind-blowing—giving outright donations of RM50,000, RM100,000 or even RM160,000 without hesitation. Truly, their kindness knows no bounds!
These are the unsung heroes who make a massive difference in the lives of the Poor & Needy. Their support not only keeps our mission alive but also spreads love, hope, and happiness to those who need it most.
To all our amazing donors—THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️ Your giving spirit is what makes the world a better place. May you always be blessed abundantly! ✨
Their belief? “Do good, and good will come back to you!” And true enough, they’ve experienced smoother business, better team morale, and even improved health!
These are the kind of people who don’t just feel sympathy—they have true empathy! ❤️
🏚️ The “Invisible” in Society
Have you ever noticed the Homeless in JB? Or maybe… we choose not to see them? Many have pride and dignity, but they are struggling quietly.

🙏 Gratitude Goes a Long Way
We’ve been supporting local university students with bursaries (RM2,400 per year), no strings attached. Over 12 years, many have graduated, but only 5% have ever reached out to say a simple “thank you” or give back in any way.
But we don’t do this for recognition. We do it because education is the key to breaking poverty. Even if only a handful appreciate it, we will continue helping.
The Government faces a similar issue—many students refuse to repay their PTPTN loans even when they are financially stable.
But that’s life. We don’t judge. We just keep doing our part, serving with love & humility! ❤️
How You Can Help?
Not everyone has the time to volunteer, and that’s okay. But if you’d like to support our work, every little bit counts! Your kindness helps us feed the hungry, care for the homeless, and support students in need.
Whether it’s a donation, sharing this message, or just spreading kindness in your own way—it all makes a difference! 🌟
