Precise to the point, Bro.
The immense joy and happiness helping others is only felt when you go out there helping, especially, the Poor & Needy, seeing them better off after each repeated visits.
Being volunteers, with no pay, no off-day, working during rain or shine and, occasionally, into the wee hours of the night, if situations demand, can be undaunting to many but the “ecstacy” devired from lifting others up, seeing them standing on their own feet and having a better life, is immeasurable, something that money just can’t buy.
We have now many volunteers wanting to follow us.
Today, we have a student, about to graduate as a Quantity Surveyor, volunteering for the first time.
Many of our volunteers are repeated ones, they just loved the stories that goes along when they go around with me. Most of them the same old stories they read about in our website/FB.
Once, a volunteer commented that he knew the story already as he read it in our website – the same old story told by me as, being a real story and no matter how many times I repeated it, it will be the same – true stories from real life!
They asked me “any more stories?”
And they said “ah, this one I haven’t heard it”.
Yes, as I go around daily, I meet different people with different stories and I love sharing with volunteers following me around. Real stories from real life experiences!
I inspired them and they, in turn, go on inspiring others to be a volunteer – the joy, the pleasure and the nice feeling of going into someone else’s heart ❤️!
