Since this article came out some time ago, it touched my heart and it came today(5/9/2022) when I finally got a chance to visit this family in dire straits in Ipoh.
Elderly Couple Suffering From Various Diseases Appeal For Help
Traveling from JB, with a night stopover in KL, we made our way to Ipoh and, as I am writing this, I am on the way back to KL.
We gave Promac milk powder for Uncle and the grandchildren, pampers, underpads and special Nutren milk for aunty and biscuits, etc for the grandchildren. We even brought along a ripple mattress but they already have one and we kept it for others.
Uncle was very thankful for our visit, he waited outside the gate of his house to wave us goodbye, even though we told him to go in and look after bedridden aunty.
