Yayasan Suria JB Care (YSJBC) – Rain or Shine, YSJBC Stands Strong! 🌧️☀️
The Myth of Falling Sick in the Rain! Rain 🌧️ ☔
Monsoon season is back, and the daily rain and thunderstorms are here again. But for us at Yayasan Suria JB Care (YSJBC), the weather doesn’t matter! Rain or shine, we hit the road 365 days a year, fueled by pure passion to serve humanity. 🚗💨❤️

So, what’s the big deal with rain? Yeah, it makes things messy, but excuses? None! Whether we’re wet or dry, we deliver—no matter the circumstances. 🌧️👊
Most days, I’m running solo—about 95% of the time. Volunteers are hard to find these days; everyone’s busy with their own rice bowl. Understandable! But at YSJBC, we serve from the heart, not for payment. No allowances, no petrol money—just love, humility, and passion to help others. 🥰🙌
And about getting sick in the rain? Myth, lah! I’ve been drenched, dried off in my air-conditioned Hilux, gone out, gotten wet again—repeat cycle. Nothing happened! 💦🚘😎
The neon green YSJBC “quick dry” T-shirts worn by volunteers help to keep us dry during this rainy season too It’s all about what you believe. If you fear the rain, you’ll fall sick. Walk with confidence, and you’ll be fine! I’ve seen people panic, slip, or even get hit by cars because they were rushing to avoid getting wet. So next time, let the raindrops hit your body, thank God you’re alive, and enjoy the moment. 🎶☔

Just like my battle with 3rd stage lung cancer 22 years ago. People warned me about “taboo” foods—chicken (only male ones), duck, fish (especially Indian Mackerel or Kembong), and brown cuttlefish (the kind eaten with Kangkong or Water Spinach). Rules for everything! But I ate it all. Why? Because I didn’t believe in those taboos. The mind is the forerunner of all things! 🧠💪
In Chinese culture, these so-called “taboo” foods are considered “poisonous”, especially for cancer patients, and must be avoided at all costs! But I didn’t buy into it.
As the Buddha said, “The mind is the forerunner to all thought, speech, and action.” Buddhism is a way of life, not a religion. So, to all religious people, please know the difference—no offence to anyone!
You are what you believe!
To all cancer fighters: eat what you love. Live fully. You got this! 💖🍽️
“Life is good when you are happy, but much better when others are happy because of you.” 🌏💞
Let’s keep spreading love and kindness—YSJBC style! 🙏
