This Chinese New Year, we kept our promise and visited Suki today, now a confident, fluent English-speaking 13-year-old with a bright future ahead. From hampers and Ang Pows(RM1,000 from YSJBC & RM150 from 2 other supporters) to new dresses and a special lunch celebration in Puchong, every moment was filled with love and joy.
It was a pity that Suki’s father, Bro Wong, couldn’t follow us as he is not very mobile – we “tapau” some CNY goodies for him!
The highlight? Celebrating her new Malaysian citizenship and NRIC! Seeing her teary farewell reminded us that small acts of care can leave a lasting impact. Suki is not just a beneficiary; she’s part of our ONE BIG FAMILY! 👨👨👧👧
We’ve pledged to support her education up to Form 5 and beyond, and with mentors like Bro Ricky and supporters like YOU, her future looks bright. Let’s continue to invest in her dreams and others like her!
