YAYASAN SURIA JB – FEEDING 400 HOMELESS.

Venue: CIQ/RAILWAY STATION, JB.
In collaboration with our partner, Ihsan Johor and 25 volunteers, we ditched out the following to 400 hungry Homeless.
1. 420 cooked food Packs, RM5/pack – RM2,100
2. Masks, 10 pcs per person, 4,000 pcs – RM2, 000
3. Red packets, love offering, 400 packs @ RM100 – RM40,000
4. Mineral water, 400 bottles – RM374
5. Plastic zip lock for masks – RM91
TOTAL: RM44,565
A job well done, volunteers!
The speed at which the volunteers put in the Ang Pows in the plastic bag containing the cooked food, mask and mineral water, discretely in the cramped vehicle, out of the sight of the homeless, is amazing and just superb!
We can’t let the Homeless see the Ang Pow, otherwise hell will break loose, for obvious reasons, previously good-hearted individuals giving out cash were “mauled” – NGOs like us will know what to do based on experience.
MBJB personnels were on standby and everything went like clockwork.
